5 TIPS - to be Happy without Compromise!

Do you want a happier life?

If you do, you can, even if you are not feeling great in your life at the moment. I want to reassure you, you don't have to make massive commitments, or massive changes to see massive results.

Just 1% improvement each day is all you need to start transforming your life. When we are happy we feel less stress, less worry and less anxiety.

I have been there, I have been in a place where I just did not know how to be happy, not truly. I was living life surviving and was not thriving. It felt like grief had taken over my soul and as much as I tried to be strong and tried to find happiness. I just did not know where to start, I know what it is like to be in the blackhole and that's one of the reasons why I made it my purpose to help others.

But I want to challenge you to be happy, to be happier. Let's move the needle on your happiness and let's start this journey today!

Although, this is an inside job, I can't make you be happy but I can gift you some powerful tools to make a start. Let's create core happiness not superficial happiness.

There is no one definitive answer to how to be happy, as happiness is subjective and can be influenced by many factors such as genetics, life circumstances, and personal preferences. However, you can use this blog as a reason to find a reflective space and write down what you want, what would make you happy. What would your happy life look like? Feel like? And sound like?

Don't get stuck in "I will be happy when syndrome" Just decide what would make you happy and don't postpone your happiness.

You deserve to be happy.

Find happiness in the now, even if it feels unbearable. I understand it can be difficult to find happiness in some situations. It can be hard to see the wood before the trees, just focus on 1 thing a day, this can move the needle.

Change only happens when you are all in!

Here are Reflective Questions you can ask yourself:

Ask yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 - how happy would you say you are?

If I asked you this on a different day? can you remember when that answer would have been different?

Real core happiness is stable and secure, and it is not reliant on anything outside of yourself. Superficial happiness does not last, it comes and goes in waves. One of the things which creates core happiness is when our outside world reflects our inside world. You can be in a crappy situation, and something can be happening which you are not happy with, but you can still feel happy and in alignment.

Stuff and money does not make people happy. Buying shoes might give you a buzz, but it does not last. No number of shoes will make you feel enough.

Here are some tips that may help you cultivate happiness in your life:

Cultivate positive emotions:

Practice gratitude, kindness, and optimism to help shift your focus towards positive experiences. If we feel happy, we feel so much less resistance, so much less doubt, we become less concerned about what other people might think. It isn't what anyone else says about you that matters, it is what you say about you that matters. It is how you feel about you, we can all at times be negative about ourselves, but this is not helpful.

When you are always reacting based on your feelings, the issue is your feelings always change and the facts always remain the same.

Nurture relationships:

Connect with friends and loved ones and prioritise building and maintaining positive relationships. As human being we need connection in life.

Find meaning and purpose:

Engage in activities or pursuits that give you a sense of fulfilment and purpose. Research has shown that people are happier and feel they have more time in life if they have hobbies. So even if you are pushed for time, get that yoga session booked you always wanted to do, or the hobby you have been putting off. You will feel better for it.

You can find purpose in moments; you need to find what ever it is that makes you feel excited to do.

Take care of your physical health:

Get enough sleep, exercise regularly, and eat a healthy diet. If you struggle with sleep, you can access my FREE sleep meditation from the freebie area.

Practice mindfulness and self-reflection:

Take time to be present in the moment and reflect on your thoughts and emotions. Do a meditation in the morning, grab your phone as soon as your alarm goes off and do a meditation, set a second alarm in case you fall back to sleep. But this will help you start the day the right way. You only need 10 minutes to start your day the right way. But even if you have never done this before, give it a go and notice the difference to your day.

Write your gratitude’s in the here and now, this is how the mind works with the universal laws. Say I am so happy and grateful that I ... and put what you desire, even though it has not happened yet. If you feel the feelings that it has already happened, and you vibrate from a positive energy field you will call in positive energy. When you vibrate from an energy level of lack, you will call in lack. Feel rich and abundance in your life and you will call this in.

If you do a meditation and journal your gratitude’s in the morning, this sets you up for a totally different day and makes a real big difference. You will be getting up with purpose and intention.

Set your intentions for the day, is it to widen your circle?

Is it to do something you have been putting off?

Do you want to do some training?

Book a retreat?

Have a spa day?

What intension will make you happy?

If you change your habits, you will change your life.

I would encourage you to be more courageous in life. It takes courage to build the life of your dreams, it takes courage to build the business of your dreams, it takes courage to push past when you don't feel like it, to get out of bed on a bad day and say to yourself I am having a good day no matter what.

I hope some of these tips are helpful to you, but do what makes you feel good, this is about you. I am only sharing things from a personal and professional viewpoint. You don't have to listen to me, find what works for you. But do create the habits and disciplines what work for you.

Remember, happiness is a journey and not a destination. It takes effort and commitment to cultivate happiness in your life, but the rewards can be well worth it.
